We travel for a living, and are constantly on the road. When we are on a job we work from 60-84 hours per week, fast food and eating out are the easiest things to do. Occasionally we call a halt to all this and diet. It's usually short lived and most times only allows us to maintain a very unhealthy weight. Lately we have been looking up recipes, and trying them out. This seems to work better than just grilling some meat and adding a couple of vegetables. Sometimes it doesn't even feel like we are controlling what we eat. The 100 calorie snacks help a lot, plus I am a huge popcorn addict. When we are home we have hours and hours to eat. It's a crazy life! Right now we are home, and are trying hard every day. |
